While Salou is not serviced by its own airport, there are three within 100 miles and the closest in less than 10 miles away.
The nearest is Reus Airport, which is 6.4 miles away and flights are generally just over two hours from the UK. You can fly direct from Birmingham, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Edinburgh with Jet2.com, Ryanair and Thomas Cook. From the airport, it's a 12-minute drive to Salou's centre and Maximise can organise your return airport transfers.
If you are going to fly to Barcelona, which is 61-miles away, you'll have just over an hours drive to get to Salou. Vueling, Ryanair and Easyjet all fly direct to Barcelona from London.
A little bit further away is Lleida-Alguaire Airport. It is a four-hour flight and more than an hour and a half from Salou.
