Welsh Games in Cardiff : Information

Bring on the Welsh Games Boyo!

Voted as Cardiff's number one activity, this is a new, unique set of games for groups that want to have as much fun as possible on a Stag Do.

You'll head into the countryside to engage in a series of hilarious 'It's a Knockout' style events. There are loads of games for you to play such as, Welsh Celebrity Knockout, Leek Duel, Sheep Shenanigans, Drunk Dragons, Rugby Run, Duffin Daffyd, Across the Taff, Pull the Pit Pony and Miners Shower, but we'll go over them later.

The activity lasts around 2-3 hours as there are so many great games to try out, plus its very popular so its best to book it in early! We provide all the equipment, costumes, inflatables and everything else, all you need to do is turn up and have a great time with the lads.

We will take good care of you, take photos of your day out and present a prize for the winner at the end. Just don't wear any of your best clothes! The Welsh Games have to be the funniest, craziest Stag weekend activity out there, and we will share your experiences with our online audience so you only need to tag yourself.

Some of the hilarious games of offer during the Welsh Games:

Lots of the games are similar to things you may have done in the past such as Rodeo, Obstacle Courses and much more? The only real difference is the Welsh twist on things.

Sheep Shenanigans - Basically the Welsh' take on rodeo! But rather than a bull, its a sheep. Unfortunately its mechanical and but the good thing is no sheep were harmed during the making of this game.

Drunk Dragons - A running race while wearing a giant dragon suit, but there's a twist, livestock and slippery mud are just some of the obstacles standing between you and victory.

Welsh Celebrity Knockout - Launching missiles at famous Welsh celebs/public figures such as Tom Jones and The Prince of Wales. The person with the highest score wins!

Duffin Daffyd - Pretty much a fight with giant, inflatable daffodils and the winner is determined by who falls down first. We don't make this stuff up...

Across the Taff - Glide across the water on your teams Celtic Coracle and transfer the sheep & dragons from one side to the other.

Leek Duel - Remember Duel from Gladiator? So its that, but with giant, inflatable leeks rather than sticks, again, we're not making this up...

Pull the Pit Pony - Tug of war with a pony in the middle, the winners are those who can make the Pony land in their pit.

Rugby Run - Score a try, simple enough ay? No opponents to chop you down, how could it possibly fail? A Bungee rope is attached to your back and you need to run down the inflatable track and score a try without being snapped back by the rope.

And finally...

The Miners Shower - We've saved the best for last! All those hilarious games and no prank for the Stag? Of course not! The Miners Shower will consist of a few questions being asked to the Stag and once he gets one wrong a bucket of ice water will be dropped onto him!

What to do before or after Welsh Games:

The starting time is quite early so there aren't too many activities to do before the Welsh Games, but there is a lot for you to do after, or the next day.

One of our favourite activities, and a Stag Do classic is Paintball. Anyone who's played knows exactly what its all about, the adrenaline is exactly what a good Stag Weekend needs. If adrenaline is what you're after then White Water Rafting should be ideal for you.

Another top class activity for a Stag Weekend, and another favourite of ours is Indoor Karting.

The Welsh Games are sure to make anyone hungry, with that in mind head over to one of our popular restaurants for a 2 Course Italian Meal.

Good to Know:

Welsh Games is only available on Saturdays (from March through to October) and lasts around 2-3 hours. There are only two time slots available 10.30am and 1.30pm, so its good to book it well in advance!

This goes without saying but we're going to say it anyway - bring old clothes and shoes.
