We are so good at what we do that they made a movie about us. Watch the trailer now.
Having your stag party in Budapest basically gives you two cities to choose from. The capital is split into two districts—Buda and Pest—by the river Danube. Buda is the scenic side of the city, while Pest is loaded with pubs, bars, clubs, and restaurants. But both sides of Budapest offer enough activities to keep even the fussiest groom happy.
It may be a city made up of two parts, but there’s no doing things by halves on a Budapest stag do. You could make the most of the city’s lax gun laws by signing up for our Extreme Shooting Package, which gives you access to 7 guns and over 100 bullets.
Or maybe you’re looking for a different kind of rush for your stag. Budapest is home to some of the most thrilling experiences you can find, whether you fancy skydiving or the chance to drive a tank. Then again, you might just want to keep it chill with a visit to the legendary Szechenyi Thermal Baths, especially if you’re planning on taking full advantage of the nightlife.
The bars of Budapest are out of this world, making it perfect for anyone thinking of having their stag do in the city. Among the best and cheapest you'll find in Europe, Budapest’s after dark is rich, wild, colourful, and won’t disappoint anyone who likes partying until dawn.
While Budapest’s impressive variety of clubs and bars will fascinate you, we suggest going on one of our guided bar crawls to guarantee a mind-blowing time. Perfect for your first night, Maximise can help you get to know Budapest’s best watering holes and save you from spending your night wandering between places that aren’t worth your time.
As well as some world-class places to drink, Budapest also has some top-class stag do entertainment. Think a party boat with an open bar, a limo ride with a stripper, or even hiring out your own private strip club—what happens in Budapest stays in Budapest, especially on a stag weekend.
Whether you want a standard bus or upgrade to a limo or party bus, we start your Budapest stag do in style from the second you step off the plane. When it comes to getting the lads to the hotel, we always recommend letting us sort out airport transfers for you—no hassle and no stress of organising public transport or taxis.
When it comes to getting around, the city has an extensive public transport network and includes buses, trolleybuses, trams, underground Metro, and above-ground suburban trains (HÉV). Buses, trams, and trolleybuses run daily from 4.30 am until 11 pm. You’ll need to buy your tickets or passes before boarding, though. Luckily, these are easily available from Metro stations, tobacconists and newsagents, as well as at vending machines found in most stations.
When it comes to getting a taxi, these are pretty affordable and clearly identifiable, thanks to their yellow registration plates. They’ll also have the company name clearly on display, as well as "City Taxi". The basic rate is roughly 450 HUF (£1.25), and each additional kilometre costs between 250-300 HUF, which works out to less than a quid.
Bigger taxi companies offer rates lower than the maximum listed above. Most of them have an English-speaking telephone operator and you can request them to send a driver that speaks at least basic English if you like.
