From massive concerts to night clubs in a cave, Split is a city that oozes a vibrant and rich party spirit wherever you turn.
While Split has scores of cafe-bars across the city, they are far from the extent of its nightlife. Split is also home to countless clubs, bars open-air concerts, festivals and restaurant that are ready to show you and the lads good time during your stag do!
Better yet, many of these top watering holes are in and around the city centre area so you won’t have to go far to find them.
It's important to know about these cafe bars because locals don’t typically show their faces in any nightclub before 11 pm. They start late but party longer in Split, which is ideal for a stag do. The locals are usually warming up in these cafe-bars, which is why they are worth mentioning.
A night out typically begins with a drink on the Riva before crowds head towards the cellars of Diocletian's Palace where many top bars and watering holes are tucked away. The labyrinthine streets surrounding the old Roman palace are also swarming with people and top bars, in the warm months you'll find most people sitting on the street outside the bar especially along the narrow streets of Get.
Being just metres from the beachfront promenade, this area is the best spot to mingle among locals and other partygoers alike, as well as experience the laid-back Mediterranean atmosphere that’s typical of Split.
However, don't think things are chill are laid back all the time and everywhere. Once the sun sets the nightclubs located outside the palace walls come to life and don't die down until well into the next morning.
When the bars and pubs near the palace and promenade start to shut for the night, you and the lads will want to head to Bacvice Beach. While during the day Bacvice Beach is a place to soak up the sun and enjoy the water, at night it transforms into the city's top party district and is an absolute must visit during your stag do. Zenta Club, Club Bačvice and Tropic Club are just a few of the top clubs in the area.
A guided bar crawl, which includes free drinks and club entry, is the best way to sample the top watering holes and nightlife Split has to offer and is recommended for the first night of your stag do.
Tailored to suit your stag party and the season, bar crawls are the best way to sample the best nightlife on offer as well as get to know Split and gain some valuable local knowledge.
Nestled on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, Split is known for its breathtaking and picturesque beaches as well as its incredible Roman architecture. One of the cities most recognisable and largest attractions is the fortress-like complex at its centre, known as Diocletian's Palace. Built by the Roman emperor in the 4th century, the palace now forms about half of the old town and its sprawling remains include more than 200 buildings. What was once home to thousands is now home to numerous shops, bars, cafes, hotels and houses.
It's also where you'll find some top nightlife, making it a must visit during your stag do!
Another area where you'll find yourself flocking to is the Riva, which is the broad street right on the waterfront that runs the length of the old town to the palace on its south side. You could also try and call it by its full name which is Obala hrvatskog narodnog preporoda - but we tend to just stick with Riva.
Either way, it's the go-to place in Split, where you can enjoy the numerous cafes, bars, shops and waterfront views. It's also a venue for various cultural, sports and entertainment events.
Given that Split is a city on the Dalmatian Coast and enjoys the waters of the Adriatic Sea, the beaches are guaranteed to be A-MAZING and certainly need to be enjoyed during your stag do!
Bačvice Beach, Kaštelet, Kašjuni, Trstenik, Bene and Znjan Beach are among the top beaches to bless the shores of Split. With the plethora of incredible beaches and the Adriatic Sea, be sure to enjoy a Catamaran Cruise during your stag do in Split.
