Make the most of your stay in Madrid to visit the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, the home of one of the best teams in the world, Real Madrid.

You and the lads will get a behind the scenes tour of this 81,000 seater stadium, which includes full-access t the tunnels, changing rooms/lockers, press room, field, coaching area, club room, the team's bus and a complete stadium tour.

But, that's not all, you'll also get to see the trophy room, museum, presidential box and the gift store.

HISTORY OF THE CLUB:

Opened in the December of 1947, the club owes its names to its legendary president at the time, Santiago Bernabéu who envisioned the mammoth stadium in 1943.

Throughout his presidency, Bernabéu continued to improve the stadium's facilities, stopping at nothing to make it the best in the world.

In this second construction phase, which began in 1952, the main goal was to increase capacity to 125,000 and equip the club with the most modern amenities possible.

Due to the continued work and improvements, in 1957 the stadium became the world’s best-lit stadium in the world.

In 1952 the club hosted one of The World Cup qualification matches as well as the final. The changes made to the stadium in preparation for this event included decreasing its capacity, new electronic scoreboards and a metal roof was installed that covered 75% of the stands.

During the 1999-2000 season, the club went through a modernisation overhaul, which included implementing ticket sales via the telephone (the first time in history), updating the electronic scoreboards, renovating and expanding the roof, opening four restaurants, remodelling the third amphitheatre and making it the world's best heated stadium in the world thanks to the 1,300 heaters that were installed.

Today the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium remains a sporting, social, commercial and business benchmark. An example of modernity, functionality and management.
