Tank Driving for my Budapest Stag Do

What better way to celebrate a stag do than to take control of a gas-guzzling war relic? Step into a massive military tank and experience the adrenaline of driving one with your mates on our all-terrain course. 

Tank Driving in Budapest includes: 

First up you'll experience two wild and fast laps made by the instructor, then we'll let the groom-to-be take this beast for a spin. You will have the chance to enjoy a ride in either a GSP 55, BMP-1, or MTLBU, depending on the number of people on your stag. Each session lasts roughly 15 minutes.

Depending on the size of your group, you may not all be able to ride in the tank at the same time, if this is the case, you'll be split into groups.

This is not your ordinary driving experience though, and those that take the reins won’t actually be stepping behind the wheel—the tanks are actually propelled by steering levers. But don’t fret about your driving skills—our English-speaking instructor and tank enthusiast will be on hand to offer coaching, tips and safety instructions throughout the Tank Driving session. Just make sure to hold on tight as you pelt through mud, bumps, and water!

If the rest of your group isn’t content with being mere passengers, then fear not. We can sort you out with our VIP tank driving experience, which gives everyone on the stag the chance to take one of these mammoth machines of war for a ride. Whatever option you go for, we’ll throw in a round of beers, and transfers to and from the city centre for good measure.

It’s important to note that, unfortunately, you must be sober to take part in this activity so that you can safely operate the tank. Don’t worry though, as they’ll be plenty of opportunities for drinking post-tank driving—it is a stag do after all!

WHAT CAN I DO AFTER THE TANK DRIVING SESSION?

This will see you and your pals armed with an AK 47, Glock, shotgun, and 25 bullets to get trigger happy with for three hours. With both a winner and loser crowned among your group based on how accurately you hit your targets, it’s the perfect way to create some healthy competition among the lads.

While both the tank driving and shooting packages require everyone in the party to be sober, you can soon make up for lost time with some of our other activities. If you fancy a boozy jaunt down the River Danube, then our river cruise is just the ticket. With unlimited drinks, spectacular sights, and on-board entertainment, it’s the ideal way to unwind after a day of military-themed mayhem.
